PROJECTS OVERVIEW

The theatre industry is renowned for having tight turnaround times, with little budget, and this applies to web design where there are little margins and many competitors are pitching for the same work.

With little more to work from than show artwork, the following mockups were designed in a matter of days, with website builds taking barely longer.

LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE

A touching and hilarious musical comedy, created by the Tony Award-winning team of James Lapine and William Finn.

We had little more than a day and a half to design the website, including amends, luckily there were none!

Where is Peter Rabbit?

Hop onto your seats and immerse yourself in the magical world of Beatrix Potter!

In true theatre industry style we delivered full website mockups in less than a day.

The Starry Messenger

The stars are out in force for a new production of comic drama ‘The Starry Messenger’, including Hollywood and Tony Award-winning actor Matthew Broderick in his West End debut, alongside Downton Abbey’s Elizabeth McGovern.

Mobile was the most challenging part of this job but works well with the content stacked and call to action at the bottom within the viewable area of the mobile display.

TOAST

Nigel Slater’s Toast is a new play based on his award-winning autobiography. Vividly recreating suburban England in the 1960s, Nigel Slater’s childhood is told through the tastes and smells he grew up with.

The title treatment uses a burnt toast texture which is borrowed for the navigation bar background. This makes the navigation stand out and provides contrast with the content section of the website.

Ian McKellen on stage

Sir Ian McKellen celebrates his 80th birthday by touring the UK with a brand new solo show, with profits benefiting different causes at each location.

The hero image is a real eye catcher and immediately recognisable. With a consistent layout and good hierarchy the website succeeds in grabbing the user's attention, leading them to conversion.
